Marili Ochoa is a digital pattern maker, amazing designer, and self-proclaimed crazy cat lady. She recently posted the most epic dress she designed and created to wear to 2023's CatCon and I am pretty sure I'm not the only cat mom who would absolutely love to pre-order one of these incredible creations.

As the proud pet parent of three felines, I cannot tell you how many upholstered furniture pieces this would have saved in my house.

Yes, I clip my cats nails and provide them with ample scratching posts, but more times then once one of my cats has climbed up my body using their nails and this dress would be just purrfect!

Ochoa designed the dress for CatCon and said in her Instagram post, "I made this cat scratching post dress and wore it to the biggest cat event in the world."

People are loving this cat couture on Instagram and one person asked, "Did a cat pay you to do this?" Another added, "A scratch-able dress!? As a cat - I LOVE it!!"

I wonder if Ochoa pre-scented the dress with catnip to attract cats like I do with my cat scratchers at home?

Cats love scratching things for many reasons, it helps cats remove the outer sheath of their claws, keeping them sharp and healthy, it can relieve stress, it can mark their territory because a cat's paws have scent glands, and it is just fun for them.

I can't wait to see what this amazing designer comes up with if she attends CatCon this year!
