Wham! star Andrew Ridgeley says questions remain over George Michael's death
Former Wham! star Andrew Ridgeley has said he still has questions about George Michael’s death three years ago.
The Careless Whisper singer died in 2016 and a post-mortem later revealed that the cause was heart disease and a build up of fat in the liver, which can be linked to drug and alcohol abuse.
Ridgeley has now penned a memoir about Michael, entitled Wham! George And Me, and in excerpts obtained by The Mirror says he was “crushed by sadness” when his old friend passed away.
He also writes that he still has questions and has not achieved closure.

Ridgeley, 56, is quoted as saying of the pop star’s death: “That the circumstances of his death seemed unclear only compounded the distress.
“Without any real closure, the grieving seemed terribly raw.”
The singer said although a cause of death was recorded, there were still “a number of questions”.
He added that Michael – who was 53 when he died - had seemed to be in good health.
“It now seems as if we may never know what really happened,” he said.
“When someone dies alone, perhaps there are always answers that remain out of reach. It still feels uncomfortable, though.”
Michael died in December 2016.

His body was found by his former partner, hairdresser Fadi Fawaz, at his home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire on Christmas Day.
Michael and Ridgeley formed Wham! in 1980 and the pop duo went on to enjoy huge success with hits such as Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, Careless Whisper and Club Tropicana.
However, they were only together for a few years and split after a farewell concert at Wembley Stadium in 1986.
