Driving rain and heavy winds buffeted Port Orchard shortly after a tornado swept through the Washington state city on Tuesday, December 18.The National Weather Service issued a high wind watch for the coast of the Pacific Northwest on Tuesday after gusts of 40 miles per hour battered Washington on Monday. In addition to the wind, the Pacific Northwest’s typical drizzle transformed into a gushing downpour as thunderstorms and tornados blasted homes.Residents of Port Orchard caught the downpour and lashing winds on tape from the porch of their home.
