A dog that had been missing for several months had an emotional reunion with his family on October 15.The Galway Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA) shared this video of the joyous occasion, which shows the Kilpatrick family, from Co Kildare in Ireland, cuddling their beloved pet for the first time in over four months.Alfie the lurcher went missing from his home in Co Kildare on June 7, and was spotted on the other side of Ireland, in Ballinasloe, Co Galway, on October 14. The GSPCA said the dog had been stolen.According to his owner, Andrew Kilpatrick, a vet said that Alfie was lucky to be alive. Speaking to Irish media, Kilpatrick said: “The kids are overcome with joy to have him home. Their positive wishes and belief to never give up brought him back.” Credit: Galway SPCA via Storyful
