Conservative MP Jacob Rees-Mogg gives his reaction to Prime Minister Theresa May's consideration of a proposed extension to the transition period after the UK leaves the EU in March 2019. Rees-Mogg, who is chairman of the pro-Brexit European Research Group (ERG), criticised the proposal, saying that the UK will be a "vassal state" during the transition period, and that "we will have laws imposed upon us on which we have no say."
