The ICRC hailed the UN-sponsored peace talks as an important step on December 14, adding that it may not have come soon enough with an estimated 2.2 million Yemeni children suffering from acute malnutrition.Warring factions agreed to a ceasefire in the port city of Hodeidah after a week of talks and five years of conflict, Reuters reported.Footage released by the ICRC shows injured and malnourished Yemenis. The father of a malnourished girls says, " Suddenly she couldn’t move anymore. She had diarrhea, she could not control it. She was playing she was just fine before. Look at her, how she looked before and how she looks now!"An injured girl pleads, “It is enough now. Please let us live in our homes in peace, enough wars.
