The delicious cocktail was invented by London bartender Dick Bradsell in the 1980s, when a customer was in need of 'something to wake you up and then (ahem) f*** you up,' and with that the moreish combination of espresso, coffee liqueur and vodka, the Espresso Martini was born. Despite looking all fancy with its delicious foamy top, delicately scattered coffee beans and rich, dark liquid, it's actually pretty simple to make at home, and just needs a few basic ingredients.
