The famous recipe was shared in honor of the Queen’s summer garden parties. an annual series of events that were canceled this year due to the ongoing global pandemic. The instructions, which can be found on Instagram, are surprisingly simple . There are just seven ingredients — most of which the average, non-nation-ruling person probably has in their pantry. Some American commenters seemed frustrated by the sheer Britishness of the recipe. which was measured in grams and featured the mention of sultanas, a type of grape that’s far more common in the U.K. Most users were far more positive though. with plenty of commenters sharing their excited anticipation to make a “Queen-certified” snack.
