In an interview with al-Modon, the head of the White Helmets, Raed Al Saleh said his organization had rescued over 115,000 civilians. In September, Russian state-sponsored media reported that the White Helmets participated in a “meeting of terrorists” in Idlib. A deal between Russia and Turkey called for heavy arms and militant groups to depart a buffer zone in the West of Syria by October 15.This footage shows a protest in support of the White Helmets held in West Aleppo.
