Video of Parakeets Playing Playground Game Together Is Too Precious

If one pet is fun, two are even better. Not only will they show you so much love, but they'll love to pal around with each other too. Like two Parakeets online who were having a blast playing Peek-a-Boo.

Mintee and Amber were playing the game on their mama's knees (of all places).

Although we should mention that these two probably need a refresher of the rules. You're supposed to hide your face and then say "peek-a-boo." The Ring-necked Parakeets were sort of just starring at each other as they said the magic phrase.

The whole interaction then turned really sweet when Mintee asked Amber for a kiss.

"Give me a kiss! Mwah," he said before puckering up. Then they chatted back and forth with each other. They were having a parakeet playdate!

"Mintee and Amber. So beautiful together," their owner wrote in the caption.

The dynamic duo won over so many fans online. "I don't know how I ended up in talking bird TikTok but I am here for it," joked one commenter. "OMG so freaking cuuuteee," someone else gushed. "Not sure how I ended up on BirdTok, but I'm livin' for this..." a third person agreed.

Types of Talking Birds

If you've always wished that your pet could talk back to you, you might want a bird. Not all birds are talkative like these two, but there are several breeds that do talk and will show you tons of affection.

Budgies are pretty special. When people think about talking birds, they tend to think of larger breeds. Budgies are small in size but rival any larger bird in language. Some Budgies can even learn hundreds of words. It can sometimes be hard to understand what Budgies are saying because they have deep voices, but trust us, they're talking.

Amazon Parrots are another breed that has been known for having exceptional speaking skills. Amazon Parrots can also have large vocabularies, but unlike Budgies, Amazon Parrots have better vocal clarity. And they can learn tricks! Making them exceptional pets.

Quaker Parrots also like to talk. Also known as Monk parakeets, these guys love to chat and are known for their charm. Quakers can also build a large vocabulary and some Quaker owners believe that the birds can use these words in context.

African Grey Parrots are believed to be extremely smart birds. They're known for picking up words quickly and speaking very clearly. They're also impressive mimics. Some people even have been tricked into thinking they're talking with a family member in another room when it turned out to be their African Grey Parrot.

It just goes to prove, that you'll never really be lonely if you have a pet bird.
