Vanessa Feltz would love to couple up with Jurassic Park star Jeff Goldblum, naming him as her top celebrity crush. But she confessed he's off limits as a married man.

Feltz told The Mirror that her affection for the star of The Fly — not the best film to watch if you want your crush to continue — started when she interviewed him in bed on The Big Breakfast in 1996.

At the time, Goldblum was riding high off the box office successes of Jurassic Park and Independence Day, which catapulted him to megastar status. It's no surprise that Feltz was infatuated, and her affection has stuck around until today.

"He’s married so I can’t have him," said Feltz. "I like his look, his personality and intellect, he’s quick and clever and has hobbies."

Feltz revealed that Goldblum even invited her to a party after they hit it off on camera. At the time, though, she was married to surgeon Michael Kurer.

She said: "I remember I interviewed him and he asked me to come to a party that evening, so I went but I was married so I took my husband with me. I’m not 100% sure what his intentions were but I don’t think he was expecting me to bring a husband.

"I’m not up for having a married man, that’s not my thing at all, but I like that look and personality."

Feltz has been trying to get back into the romantic world of late following her split from fiancé Ben Ofoedu, including a "really overwhelming" reality TV appearance on Celebs Go Dating in 2023.

"I was scared stiff," said Feltz. "It’s hard because you know very quickly if you have things in common with someone in real life. But obviously, this is on TV and you can’t just walk out.

"It’s difficult, but I am glad I did it because by the end of it I was feeling more comfortable dating. I couldn’t be nervous because I’d done so many by then."

Feltz even said she'd spoken to the team behind the show about giving it another go if there's an opening in a future series.

Given the fact Goldblum has been married for a decade now, he probably won't be turning up on the show, unfortunately.
