Family of deer attempt to cross ski course during race

While a ski race was going on at a resort in Nakiska, Canada, a family of deer attempted to cut across the course to get to the forest on the other side.

The deer got startled as several skiers raced towards them and they scattered about the course.

There were a number of close calls before two of the deer made it into the forest on the others side, and the other turned back.

We hope it managed to reunite with its family later on.
