The small Labradoodle, Angus, went missing on Wednesday during one of his first walks when he got "spooked".
His owners Clare and Ross Brown searched the 2,500-acre park, while local dog owners took to Facebook to help find the lost puppy.
Miranda Mackaness wrote: "PLEASE HELP: Angus (14 weeks old) went missing today (wed) in Richmond park (around sheen gate and Roehampton). Last seen at 10.30am. Please contact me if anyone has information. Please share with anyone who may have been walking in the park at this time. The temperatures drop to freezing tonight so we need to find him asap."
On Saturday, Mackaness updated her post, writing: "HE HAS BEEN FOUND!!!!!!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you everyone! The owners want to pass on their huge gratitude for all the love and support that people have given. Have a lovely Christmas!! (Found in a tree stump by the ballet school)".
She added: "Suddenly he got spooked and he just ran, ran and ran."
After a sighting on Saturday morning, Clare and Ross rushed to the park and found him "sitting really quietly by the tree trunk".
