Museum of the Bible set to open amid controversy

Thousands of biblical texts and artefacts are on display at the Museum of the Bible, scheduled for its public debut on Friday.

But the museum's conservative Christian founder is dogged by questions about how the museum got some of its ancient goods.

The museum contains eight floors of biblical artifacts and exhibits from over the centuries ― including fragments from the Dead Sea Scrolls, one of the largest private collections of Torahs in the world, and a Bible once owned by Elvis Presley.
