Runaway bride disappears with stag do and hen weekend cash

A runaway bride who jilted her fiance in a stag do con is alleged to have £6,000 of hen do cash as well.

Chris Mahone and 30 of his pals were all set to go to Ibiza last Thursday for a boozy weekend.

But they were turned away from a flight at Leeds airport when Jet2 said there was no booking.

His fiancee, Rachel Doran, allegedly gave them bogus boarding cards and fled with £11,000.

Now it has emerged Rachel may also have asked 20 mates for cash in advance for a hen do in Edinburgh due to take place next month.

A source told The Sun: "The wedding is off and the hens are desperate to know where their money has gone.

"They're worried she's taken that as well."

Rachel, 29, who was set to wed Chris in December, may face a police probe.

Chris's pal said: "I doubt if we'll see her again. She is hated in Cleator Moor."

Rachel is said to be staying in nearby Allonby.

Meanwhile, Chris first drowned his sorrows in Leeds before going to Cumbria, drinking in Penrith on Friday.
