Tourist attacks men who woke him up from boat siesta

A tourist who fell asleep on a boat on the Spanish island of Formentera, near Ibiza, was filmed in a punch-up with two men after being disturbed during his beach siesta.

In a video posted on YouTube, the holidaymaker chases and tries to fight with one of the men.

According to Ferry Ibiza Formentera, he fell asleep in a boat named Zodiac which belongs to one of the restaurants in the area.

When two members of staff from the restaurant woke him up by throwing water on him, the man first refused to get out of the dinghy. He then got up and lunged at one of the men.

He is warned that the police have been called but responds by shouting: "F*** you motherf***er, f*** you" and "f*** the police."

The Daily Mirror reports that one beachgoer is heard on the video telling her husband in Spanish: "Come over here Pepe, you're missing everything."

The bizarre incident happened on Formentera's Ses Illetes beach.
