The tail-end of Hurricane Gert is set to bring the hottest day of the month to the UK, with very humid weather on the way.

The Weather Channel says Monday could see temperatures of 26C or 27C, making it the warmest day of August.
Heavy rain is expected in the North on Saturday before balmy weather arrives. The South is likely to see dry and sunny conditions, followed by unsettled weather on Sunday but temperatures of 25C.
Towards the end of Sunday, the tropical and humid air will be seen across southern and eastern Britain.
Meanwhile, Met Office forecaster Charlie Powell says that Scotland could receive 25mm of rain on Monday.
The weather is likely to be more settled by midweek.
Speaking to Get Surrey, Powell said: "We will certainly get a humid feel as we head through Sunday, more especially into the new week, so I don't think we can expect temperatures to rocket up.
