Chaotic scenes ensued at the station of quiet seaside town when a passenger fell onto live train tracks.
A horrified onlooker immediately came to the man's aid, but can be seen to panic when she couldn't help retrieve the man by herself.
The quick-thinking train driver, who had yet to pull away from the platform, soon ran to help rescue the poor passenger during the incident on March 6, 2016.
Thankfully, it is understood the passenger was uninjured.

The incident occurred on the Southeastern network at Broadstairs station in Kent
A witness told Sun Online : "It was by pure chance the passenger was behind the gentleman and that she noticed him fall and was able to call for help.
"It's a really lucky escape. If no-one had noticed and the train had pulled away from the platform he could have been killed."
A Southeastern spokesman said:"Southeastern fully investigated the incident...taking into account all the relevant circumstances.

"We concluded that the train driver (seen wearing a woolly hat and scarf in the CCTV footage) identified the incident quickly and reacted appropriately, leaving his cab and going to the aid of the passenger who had fallen on the track.
"No health and safety regulations or procedures were breached and there was no risk of the train moving off. We use this video as a resource for training drivers to highlight the importance of being vigilant to safety issues which can develop very quickly.
"We were very pleased that the passenger was not badly injured."
