Ibiza battered by severe thunderstorms

Footage has emerged from Spain of a thunderstorm hitting Ibiza.

The video shows lightnings striking over city buildings amid a heavy rain.

It was also reported today that a ceiling collapsed at Ibiza Airport yesterday while the storms continued to cause delays on the party island.

Luckily no one was injured in the incident.

The Daily Mail reports that as many as 3,000 lightning bolts were recorded yesterday.
