A man narrowly avoided death as an out of control helicopter crashed into a mountain in Austria.

The miracle escape occurred as the spinning helicopter plummeted towards the mountain, just moments after it had attempted to land.

The man managed to dive out of the way of the rotor blades and run away as the helicopter crashed.

The incident occurred on the Grossglockner mountain in Austria.
