A new hotline is here to help with all your fake tan disasters

This could really save your skin in an emergency!

Updated:

You can now call an emergency fake tan hot line

If you've ever used fake tan, then at some point you'll have found out the hard way that it's not quite as easy as it seems to apply.

It all goes swimmingly as you lather yourself up in it, but for some reason eight hours later, you wake up looking like a patchy orange extra on the set of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Where did it all go wrong? How did it all go wrong? You lament as you have to wash your sheets again for nothing.

If only there was someone on the end of a phone who could save you from a tantastrophie.

But there is. Oh yes, launching this week is a tan hotline called the 'Tan Line' where you can dial up at any hour of the day to get advice on anything tan related. That's right, luxury brand Tan Luxe, have cottoned on to the fact that we as a nation aren't actually that great at applying the fake stuff.

So, for the month of August, they've set up a special number you can call for free and get advice from a tanning expert.

The type of things you can ask:

  • I've got a date tonight, what's the quickest tan I can use that'll make me look like a bronzed goddess come 7pm?

  • My ankles are an entirely different shade to my leg - what can I do?

  • I've got tan on my white dress - HELP?

  • My boyfriend hates the smell of fake tan. Can I do anything about it?

  • Hi, why are my eyebrows orange?

Basically, just ask them anything glow-related and they've got you covered.

If it sounds like something you'll be needing this month, then just dial 0800 0129 292. It's completely free, and you might just learn a few beauty lessons.
