Fishermen horrified as shark jumps on boat and becomes trapped

An amazing video has emerged from the United States of an enormous shark which jumped onto a fishing boat and became stuck.

In the clip, which was filmed off the coast of Long Island, the fishermen look on in horror as the huge mako shark writhes around on the deck of the boat with its body trapped beneath the guard-rail.

The shark even bites the rail several times at it struggles to release itself.

Eventually the fishermen manage to cut the shark free and it slips into the water and swims away.
