Bizarre moment biker throws himself onto car windscreen

Shocking dash cam footage captured the moment a moped rider tried to fake a road crash by pushing his scooter into the front of a car and throwing himself onto the bonnet.

The bizarre video, which shows the terrible attempt at an alleged insurance scam, sees the driver emerge from their car and shouts: "What the hell? You idiot!"

After the woman confronts the young man and his friend, she tells them: "I've got a camera. Do you understand you are on video, you complete idiot".

As she tries to call the police, the pair disappear.

The video was filmed earlier in July.

It is not clear if the incident has been investigated by police.

A reported one in ten personal injury claims are linked to suspected 'crash-for-cash' scams.
