It is reported that two are in a serious condition but out of "danger" while the rest made full recoveries.
Diego Cedeno, who lives in the area, said that the suspended bridge was built 10 years ago but since then it has not received any maintenance, which he blamed as the reason to why it gave way.
He added the bridge was supposed to support a weight of 1.5 tonnes at any given time.
