The motorist is seen cutting up another driver at the roundabout, before losing control, mounting a curb and crashing into the estate agents in Okehampton.

The incident, which happened on Thursday afternoon, was witnessed by 59-year-old Maxine Nelson.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, she said: "I cannot for the life of me see how the car got there.

"The people in the car had to be taken out by the fire service.

"The car took the whole corner off the shop. It was unbelievable."

The two people in the car were taken to hospital after being cut free by the fire service but neither was seriously injured.

A driver at Peck Trading Ltd captured the incident on his dash cam. The company shared the video on Facebook and wrote: "The reason we have dash cams is for our own safety, but sometimes we also capture other events! No one seriously hurt amazingly.
