A florist bandit is transforming the city with his stunning unsuspected "floral flashes".

Floral designer Lewis Miller aka the bandit, started the treatment in The John Lennon memorial in Central Park.

Miller and his team surrounded the 'Imagine' sign with 2000 pink, purple, orange and yellow dahlias and carnations.

Since then he's been putting on surprise displays around the city.

And why does he do it? Only to bring joy to their fellow citizens' daily commutes. More things like this please!
