It's always nice to be reminded that famous, wealthy footballers face the same challenges as the rest of us.
While some people would have you believe a big celebrity like Gary Neville flies around the country on a private jet, eating caviar and using a gold-plated toilet, the reality is that the Sky Sport pundit lives a pretty normal existence.
He may be a Manchester United legend, but like the rest of us, Neville can still suffer at the hands of a train company's infuriating ticketing policy.
Neville, presumably not about to get on a Virgin Train service
As reported by our friends at the Manchester Evening News, Neville is not happy with Virgin Trains right now. Not happy AT ALL.
Trying to catch this morning's 9.20am service from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly, Neville was turned away at the gate - for not having a receipt.
He asked the train manager if he could just buy another, but claims he was refused and told to go to the main desk – despite the manager apparently having a ticket machine on him.
Neville was so angry, he decided to vent his frustration to his 3.6million Twitter followers:
You are a joke @VirginTrains !!— Gary Neville (@GNev2) 19 April 2017
@VirginTrains You've got a train manager called Simon who apparently can't sell tickets at the gate? Now I've missed the train!!— Gary Neville (@GNev2) 19 April 2017
Of course, many of Neville's followers had nothing but sympathy for the former England defender.
However, there were plenty of others who had a rather different response...
