They can learn to walk minus a limb

The findings from a recently conducted study describe ants carrying their injured nestmates back home for recovery.

These ants have usually lost an extremity or have termites clinging to them.

Researchers found that they will learn to walk with fewer legs and their fellow ants will even pull of the termites.

It doesn't take long for an ant that's been hurt to once again be ready for action.
