TripAdvisor has unveiled its latest list of the best beaches in the world, taken from thousands of reviews - and each one on the list is as awe-inspiring as the last.
With incredibly clear blue waters and snow white sands it may be no surprise that Baia do Sancho in Fernando de Noronha, Brazil, has been granted the number one spot in the Traveller's Choice awards for 2017.

The area is environmentally protected and can either be accessed by boat or those with a taste for something different can use the staircases on the cliffs to make their way down.
Baia do Sancho is also known for playing host to plenty of wildlife and is perfect for diving too.
The beach was in second place in 2016, with Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos taking the number one spot last year but in 2017 the two idyllic spots have switched places
While the rest of the top five remains largely unchanged, Eagle Beach in Aruba has established its spot at number three pushing Playa Paraiso Beach in Cayo Largo into fourth place.
Sadly, no beaches from the UK made it into the top 25 in the world, but four European beaches were recognised, with La Concha Beach in San Sebastian, Spain making it into sixth place.
