A hotel owner has been given 21 days to change the name of his sleepy seaside establishment - after calling it The Viagra Hotel.

Neil Marshall believes he could even face an Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) after christening his expanding hotel in Blackpool, Lancashire, with its new lewd name.

While Blackpool Council has not made any open threat, it has informed Mr Marshall of the powers available under the Anti Social Behaviour, Crime and Local Policing Act.

But Mr Marshall says he is prepared to fight to keep the name, and is squaring up for a row with Blackpool Council, reports the Blackpool Gazette.

He insists that if he is forced to change the hotel's name he will introduce even ruder branding on his property, which is a stone's throw from Cocker Square.

Speaking to the Gazette, he said: "Well, if they want I will change the name. "I'll cross out the V, add an N and make it the Niagra and I'll change the slogan to 'keeping you wet all night'."

The Sun reports that Neil leaves novelty sex pills on the pillows for randy customers who are charged £35 a night to stay at the guesthouse, which is just a stone's throw away from Blackpool's world-famous promenade.

Speaking to the newspaper, Mr Marshall said: "Business has been great since all this started."
