Meghan Markle showed her royal style credentials by taking a leaf out of Kate Middleton's book for a Caribbean wedding date with Prince Harry .

The Suits actress wore a maxidress by Canadian-born designer Erdem - a favourite with the Duchess of Cambridge since her first royal tour to Canada in 2011 .

And Meghan, 35, is clearly ahead of the game as the floral print dress is part of the pre-Fall 2017 collection.

Usher Harry wore a navy suit and a blue patterned tie - with his yellow rose buttonhole going well with the colour flashes in Meghan's dress.

The modest style of Meghan's dress, with a high neck and long skirt, meant Meghan did not upstage bride Lara-Hughes Young, who was marrying Harry's schoolfriend Tom 'Skippy' Inskip in Jamaica.

Harry and Meghan, who have been dating since last summer, jetted in to the Caribbean island, where temperatures are a perfect 30 degrees, separately earlier this week having not seen each other for a fortnight.

The wedding celebrations were held at the exclusive Round Hill Hotel in Montego Bay yesterday after the ceremony at Hopewell Baptist Church.

The plush resort has 27 private villas and Harry is believed to be cosying up in the priciest accommodation - a six-bed villa with its own pool where guests pay £14,000 for a three-night minimum stay.
