A flat once lived in by Winston Churchill and his family is now available to rent for £4,500 a week.

The apartment is located in a terraced house in the upmarket area of Eccleston Square in Pimlico.

According to the Standard's Homes and Property site, a young Winston moved into the house a year after marrying Clementine Hozier, and their first two children were born there, Diana in 1909 and Randolph in 1911.

The apartment offers four bedrooms and an awful lot of square footage for a London property.
