Dubai is the top long-haul holiday destination for Brits


Dubai revealed as Brits' favourite holiday spot

According to new research by Gatwick Airport, long-haul holidays are on the rise, with 30% more Brits boarding flights in search of some winter sun than this time last year. But where are they all going? Dubai, apparently.

Gatwick Airport found that sandy Dubai was the most popular long-haul holiday destination, followed by Bridgetown in Barbados and then Orlando, Florida.

Also in the top ten were numerous American cities, with New York in 4th place up by 93% and Las Vegas and Los Angeles also making an appearance.
