The 3,820 square-foot pad comes with two floors, has 23inch ceilings and a 900 square-foot private patio which includes an outdoor day bed.

Inside it is decked with a cast iron staircase, Japanese-style sliding doors and a chef's kitchen and bar, according to the New York Post.

There are three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms.

The listing brokers were Caroline Aim and Colbert Warfield of Keller Williams NYC.

Mr Warfield said: "It's a truly unique space that makes everyone who has come to view it, clients and guests to architects and interior designers, say, 'wow' upon entering.

"It's the dramatic 23' bird's eye view into the open living room, and the 900sqft patio through the window wall that sets the apartment apart from the cookie cutter layouts and make it really stand out."
