Crocodile on the loose? Build a wheelie bin barricade

This huge crocodile surprised locals Down Under on 31 December when it wandered onto the promenade in the early morning and decided to nap for the day.

The croc was spotted in Karumba in the Australian state of Queensland.

Police and emergency services constructed a wheelie bin and hay bale barricade to hold the 3.5-metre reptile.

Experts were dispatched from Cairns, more than nine hours' drive from Karumba, to relocate the crocodile.
