Their festive season was far from dampened by heavy rain, which caused flooding on roads and closed the national park.

In a video filmed at the popular Australian tourist attraction, the men are seen in their Santa suits gliding through the floodwater.

Residents in Florida pulled a similar stunt earlier this year when Hurricane Hermine hit the region.

They were pictured taking to their boards to practice their surf moves in the streets after parts of the state were flooded.

One daring pair was pictured riding through the flood waters in St Petersburg as their paddleboards were pulled by a truck.

Another couple was filmed having fun on their boards while wearing swimwear as they glided through a residential street.
