Hyena mum tells young pup off for running away

It's not just humans who tell their youngsters off when they're naughty.

This footage shows a mother hyena 'disciplining' her young pup after he ran away.

The video, filmed at Kruger National Park in South Africa, shows the hyena carrying the naughty youngster around in her mouth.

The mother seems reluctant to let go of its offspring, prompting fears from the filmer that she was going to kill the pup.

Fortunately, she eventually puts him down and the youngster scampers off.
