Huge 112-pound catfish caught

A fisherman caught a monstrous catfish somewhere along the Cape Fear River.

But avid fisherman Ryan Brewington didn't want to give away his fruitful fishing spot.

Amazingly, the 112-pound catfish isn't even a record there was another one which was about five pound heavier that was caught earlier in North Carolina.

He landed this huge catfish with only a ten-pound test fishing line and he didn't even realise how big the fish was until he brought it to the surface,

It did however take him around 30 minutes to land the fish.

Brewington took a few photos with the enormous fish and then let it go.
