Black Friday travel deals 2016: The best flight, hotel and holiday offers

Black Friday is back and promises to be bigger and better for 2016. It's not all about the mega savings on tech or electrical goods either as we've rounded up some of the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals in travel. Check out the best holiday offers available this week, from cheap railcards for families in the UK, to bargain flights to America.

A third off railcards with National Rail

National Rail will take £10 off its 16-25 and Family & Friends one-year Railcards for Black Friday. The sale, which will run from Friday 25 November to Wednesday 30 November, means 16-25 and Family & Friends Railcards will cost just £20, instead of £30. The railcard, which gives a year's unlimited usage, saves travellers an average of £142.80 a year, more than four times its cost at standard price and up to six times as much at the discount price.

£199 flights to Los Angeles with Air New Zealand

On Cyber Monday (28 November), Air New Zealand will offer return flights from London to Los Angeles for just £199. One hundred flights from London to LA will be available for selected dates in February 2017, with outbound flights available on 5 to 7 and 12 to 13 February 2017, return flights on 12 to 14 and 20 to 21 February 2017. The airline will also release other deals throughout the day, so bargain hunters should keep an eye on its website and Twitter account from 10am on Monday.

£100 off cruise holidays with Princess Cruises

Princess Cruises is launching a four-day sale for Black Friday starting on Friday November 25, with cruises fares starting from £499 per person to destinations including the Mediterranean, Scandinavia and the Norwegian Fjords sailing roundtrip from Southampton in spring and summer 2017. Examples include the seven-night Spain and France cruise from £499 per person (instead of £599) for two people sharing an inside stateroom and a week-long Norwegian Fjords cruise from £599 per person (instead of £699) for two people sharing an inside stateroom.

20 per cent off flights with WOW air

WOW air is celebrating 'Purple Friday' by taking 20 per cent off its already cheap flights to destinations including Reykjavik, Los Angeles, Montreal and more. Just use promo code WOWPURPLEFRIDAY when booking return trips to any WOW air destination taking place between 10 January and 10 April 2017. This is valid for bookings made between Tuesday 22 November and Friday 25 November 2016 (until midnight). For instance, January 2017 flights from London to Reykjavik cost from £95.98 return instead of £119.98, London to Los Angeles fares cost from £239.98 return instead of £299.98 and London to New York flights costs from £196.78 return instead of £245.98.

30 per cent off stays with AccorHotels

AccorHotels is offering members and subscribers of its free Le Club AccorHotels loyalty programme a 30% discount with its special Black Friday and Cyber Monday deal this year. You can book stays at any of the 219 participating UK hotels from 25 to 28 November 2016 for stays between 5 December 2016 and 17 April 2017. Participating hotels include ibis, ibis budget and ibis Styles, as well as Novotel, Mercure, MGallery, Adagio, Pullman and Sofitel properties in big cities and countryside locations.

50 per cent off luxury stays with Morgans Hotel Group

On Cyber Monday, Morgans Hotel Group is offering up to 50 per cent off its lowest rates across the entire global portfolio for stays between 1 December 2016 and 17 April 2017. For instance, those with an eye for design can snap up a room at the Tom Dixon-designed Mondrian London, located on London's vibrant South Bank, for just £107.50 per night. One of the Morgans Hotel Groups' Originals, St Martins Lane is offering stays from just £129.50 per night, and for pure luxury, you can score a room at the whimsical Sanderson, where rooms will be available from just £149.50 per night.

Save up to 35 per cent on bucket list holidays with G Adventures

Travellers can save up to 35 per cent on a variety of adventure holidays departing before 31 March 2017, with the launch of G Adventures' four-day Cyber Sale starting at 5am on Black Friday and finishing at 11.59pm on Cyber Monday. The sale features more than 400 departures across 190 tours, including bucket list destinations such as the Mekong, Ganges, Serengeti, Galapagos and Costa Rica. For example, a Mekong River Experience costs from £844 per person instead of £1,299 per person and a Masai & Tanzania Camping Safari costs from £1,574 per person instead of £2,249 person.

Save 70 per cent on holidays with Topdeck Travel

Topdeck Travel's Black Friday sale will run from 25 November to 28 November with discounts up to 70 per cent off. Highlights include a Sydney Discovery trip and Tropical Discovery trip for £100 for the first 15 people that book, 50 per cent off ski trips in Japan and 30 per cent off all North America trips.
