For now Amsterdam airport seems to be the first testing new hand baggage-scanning devices.

These feature state-of-the-art software allowing security to examine objects with a 360-view, resulting in a more precise view of the passenger's belongings.

BUT for now you'll still have to put all liquids in plastic bags.
