Deer in a shop gives customers a shock

It sounds like the beginning of a joke: "A deer walks into a clothes shop'...

But that's what happened recently Stillwater, Ohio - giving customers a fright. And they weren't laughing.

It's not clear how - or why - the animal ended up in the branch of American Eagle, but it was obvious it wasn't impressed and was desperate to make a hasty exit.

This video shows above shows the deer running quickly towards the window of the shop before leaping through it, shattering glass everywhere.

A bystander said that the deer then ran away from the shop but it's unclear whether or not it sustained any injuries while making its dramatic exit..
