Here are some of the best places in the world to see them.

1. Kauai, Hawaii

In addition to the 'aloha state' Hawaii is also known as the 'rainbow state'. Since Kauai is the rainiest of all the Hawaiian islands, it makes sense that rainbows are plentiful in this region.

2. Canadian Rockies

Head to Jasper National Park for views of graceful rainbows next to the jagged Rocky Mountains. Getting to see the Northern Lights mat be an added bonus.
