THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED

To celebrate the opening of the Victoria and Albert Museum's headline exhibition 'You Say You Want A Revolution? Records and Rebels 1966-1970' and Jumeirah Carlton Tower's 1960s heritage, we're offering one AOL Travel reader the chance to enjoy a Swinging Sixties Afternoon Tea for four people at the luxury London hotel, with a glass each of Laurent-Perrier Brut Champagne, along with four tickets to the V&A exhibition and a copy of a stunning coffee table book produced to accompany the exhibition.

Featuring savouries and pastries inspired by 1960s food trends, the Swinging Sixties Afternoon Tea is served daily in the hotel's Chinoiserie lounge from 3pm to 6pm until 20 November 2016.

It includes a Yuzu Really Got Me – sweet pastry tart with yuzu curd topped with Italian meringue; Swiss Rock 'n' Roll – 76% Belgian dark chocolate, lemon sponge, mascarpone cream and fresh raspberries; and Strawberry Cake Forever – Madagascan vanilla butter cream and Brockett hall strawberry preserve sponge cake.

The Carlton Tower opened in 1961 as London's first tower hotel and was the place to see and be seen in sixties Knightsbridge. Chelsea socialites flocked to the new Rib Room restaurant, international stars came to stay – including actress Cyd Charisse and American playwright Tennessee Williams – and Mary Quant used the hotel as a backdrop for her fashion shoots. Photos of some of these moments, as well as 1960s adverts and clothing from Harrods' archive collection, are currently on display in the hotel's lobby in a complimentary mini exhibition entitled 'Sixties Knightsbridge Style'.
