Olympic hero Mo Farah's wife Tania allegedly swore at an airline worker because the family missed first class boarding for their flight home from Rio and were told to wait alongside economy passengers.

Tania was believed to be furious when the couple and their daughter Rihanna had to wait for all economy passengers to board before they could get on, The Sun reports.

According to the newspaper, Tania said the female Delta Air Lines worker was "f****** pathetic" and led a "sad little life" in front of shocked tourists.

A witness said the foul-mouthed tirade went on for around ten minutes as the airline worker tried to calm the 30-year-old down.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, the witness said Tania then said: "I demand an apology for the way we have been treated."

The incident allegedly took place after the Olympics as the family boarded their flight from Atlanta to Portland.
