Top 10 amusement parks in the UK

Whether it's taking a gut-wrenching ride on a swirling rollercoaster or sitting happily upon a spinning tea cup, amusement parks generally have something for everyone - and we've got some of the world's best right here in the UK.

But which are the cream of the crop? TripAdvisor recently put together its top 10 theme parks in the UK for 2016 - and the brilliant Paultons Park takes the top spot.

The popular amusement park is probably best known for being home to Peppa Pig World - but that's not all it has to offer.

Paultons also hosts the Lost Kingdom which has a whole range of dinosaur based attractions including two world class rollercoasters, life-like animatronic dinosaurs and a prehistoric dinosaur adventure play park.

The amusement park in Romsey, Hampshire, also made it to number six in the Europe wide list and was ranked number 22 in the world thanks to the Traveller's Choice awards.
