Llama photobombs romantic Peru proposal

This is the hilarious moment one man's romantic proposal was upstaged by a llama.

The cheeky chap photobombed the happy couple's snap of world-famous Machu Picchu in Peru moments after Koray Erol got down on one knee to propose to 23-year-old fiancée Rose Lambert.

Koray, 23, chose to pop the question at the UNESCO World Heritage site as it was number one on the pair's bucket list.

Rose said: "After Koray proposed people around us started applauding and this must have attracted the llama which then moved closer to us.

"I got my phone out to take a nice photo of Machu Picchu and I turned around to say something to Koray.

"As I took the photo the llama jumped into shot with a silly face almost as he was posing for me.

"It was so funny that we couldn't stop laughing, even now whenever I feel a bit down I take one look at this photo and it cheers me up!

"I'm really glad it happened because it made Machu Picchu even more memorable.

"I probably couldn't ask for something better to happen right after a proposal. I kind of wished he photobombed the actual proposal – it would have been ten times funnier!"
