Flying Scotsman photobomb earns a man a free holiday
Train enthusiasts have been going to great extremes to get a view of the Flying Scotsman – the famous locomotive that's been travelling up the East Coast Main Line from King's Cross.
No, really. The train had to stop at one point in Cambridgeshire because fans were so keen to snap photos they actually went on the tracks.
Bear that in mind, and you'll get why this photobomb is so awkward...
I had a feeling this would happen 😂 #FlyingScotsman#virgin#virgin trains pic.twitter.com/thYlXVC2B0

Yep, who knows how long he'd been waiting in that spot for...only for a much less exciting train to whizz past and take all the glory.
But before we start feeling too sorry for poor Ryan, just take a look at this amazing reply from Virgin Trains on Twitter.
.@Ryeallen, we feel bad for that photobomb! I hear Atlanta, Georgia has a super busy rail network! Fancy a trip courtesy of @VirginAtlantic?

.@Ryeallen Because we'd love to make you the #FlyingYorkshireman in apology! https://t.co/iFQNKmvzDe

Yes, really. They've offered him a trip to the US with Virgin Atlantic to become the #FlyingYorkshireman (clever). Just shows, it's always worth taking to Twitter...you might get a free holiday out of it.
Anyone else wishing they were a train enthusiast right about now?!
