Wiz Khalifa has apparently been arrested at Los Angeles International Airport - and has shared the scenes on his social media pages.

The rapper and singer seems to have been wrestled to the floor because he refused to stop riding his hoverboard, reports the Mirror.

He uploaded a picture and videos to Instagram, writing: "Haven't been slammed and cuffed in a while. That was fun... All because I didn't want to ditch the technology everybody will be using in the next 6 months. Do what you want kids."

A number of social media users have jumped to Wiz's defence, with comments including: "You weren't resisting arrest wtf that's just how they get away with killing so many black kids...", and: "Is this protocol? Yell things that are not happening? You should be building trust and showing honesty."

The Independent reports that Khalifa's representative did not respond to a request for comment.
