Child's Minions fart gun confiscated by airport security
Dublin Airport staff seized a toy gun from a child because it posed a possible threat.
A friend of the boy's mum posted a photo of the Despicable Me Fart Blaster toy, which makes fart noises and emits a banana-like scent, to social media and wrote: "Can't believe that a minion fart gun was taken from friends toddler, security felt it posed a threat @DublinAirport".

Dublin Airport said it does not allow any gun replicas.
A spokesman told the Irish Mirror that the gun would be kept while the family are on holiday and the airport will make contact with them when they return.

Earlier this summer, airport security guards at Heathrow banned a young mother from taking a children's board game onto flight – because it was called Pass the Bomb.
Katy Reilly said the £19.99 board game was confiscated at Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5 in May after security guards said it could pose a security threat.
"I can't understand it," Miss Reilly, 28, of West Dulwich, South London, told the Press Association. "It's clearly not a weapon."
They are being over-cautious."
Miss Reilly, a wedding invitations designer, was with her children Sienna, nine, and Harvey, five, when she was stopped at airport security.
The game was in her hand luggage for their holiday in Alicante, Spain.
