A rare white humpback whale has been spotted off Australia's Gold Coast in Queensland on Monday, putting on a beautiful display for tourists.
The whale was spotted by a media helicopter and filmed by whale watchers.
At first it was thought that the beautiful mammal may have been Migaloo, a world-famous white whale.
But Sea World marine sciences director Trevor Long studied the footage and confirmed that it was a different white whale.
Speaking to ABC News, he said that this whale was younger and around 5m smaller, known as 'Son of Migaloo', who is commonly seen off the east coast of Australia.
